“Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, whether identified directly or indirectly and whatever its source or form, including information relating to that person’s family status or location, e.g. Your name, address or e-mail address, IP addresses and device-related identifiers. It includes “Personal Data” under the PDPL, the GDPR and the UK GDPR, and “personal information” under COPPA and US state privacy laws.
For the purposes of providing you with the Services listed above and on our Platforms, and to the extent necessary to fulfil one or more of its functions and activities, by reasonable means, we may use, share and make available your Personal Information and details, where applicable, to the recipients described in the “With whom may your data be shared & why?” section below, and only for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
Usage Information
Whenever you use or visit our Platform and Services, Mad Hook, uses a variety of technologies to collect information about you (“Usage Information”). Usage Information includes, without limitation, the name of your internet service provider, the browser and the type of machine (“Device Type”), operating system, application, the time, the page served and the preceding page views and your use of features on the application version you are using, and any website that may refer you to us and the pages you visit to help manage and enhance the application. It also includes technical information about the device you use and your connection (user agent, type of connection, timestamp).
Device Identifier
Whenever you use or visit our application and services, Mad Hook, uses a variety of technologies to collect information about you, such as your IP address or other unique identifiers for any device you use to access and use our application (such as a computer, mobile phone, tablet or any other device). We, our affiliates, service providers, business partners or any third party may use a device identifier among other things, to administer the application; help diagnose problems, analyze trends, track users’ web page movement over time and access different websites, platforms or other mobile, online or offline services. We collect and identify your device primarily using your mobile device advertising identifier, e.g. Apple’s iOS Identifier for Advertising (IDFA) or Google’s Android Advertising ID, as well as other identifiers, which are technical identifiers developed by mobile operating systems for advertising purposes which remain under your control and can be reset or erased at any time through your device settings.

We may collect Personal Information (information that can be used to identify you as an individual) such as, name, email, telephone number, home address, demographic information (zip code, age), contact details (phone book) and/or payment information such as account or credit card numbers and details. With whom may your data be shared & why?
Mad Hook does not share your personal data with third parties for advertising or analytics purposes without your prior consent. We may share the data listed above with the following categories of recipients:

- With Service Providers. We treat all Personal Information that We process as confidential and require Our service providers to do the same.
If a breach of the security or integrity of Your Personal Information occurs that could cause You serious harm, We will notify You within twenty-four (24) hours of discovering the breach, where You are a user in Jordan, and tell You what steps You can take to protect Yourself. We will also notify the Personal Data Protection Unit at the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship within seventy-two (72) hours, as required under the PDPL. For users in other jurisdictions, We will notify You and the competent supervisory authorities where and within the time required under the laws that apply to You.
Any unauthorized access to, interception of, or interference with our Platform, systems or the data processed through them is prohibited and may constitute a criminal offence under the Jordanian Cybercrime Law No. (17) of 2023 and other applicable laws. Mad Hook may report any such act to the competent authorities.
How Long Does Mad Hook Keep Your Data?
Personal data collected, received and processed for the purposes described in this policy is not kept longer than necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required by applicable legislation. To decide how long to keep Personal Information, We consider its amount, nature and sensitivity, the purposes for which We process it, and Our legal obligations. Once the purpose has been fulfilled, We will erase Your Personal Information or anonymize it so that You can no longer be identified.
Children’s Privacy
Our Services are not intended for use by children. We do not knowingly or willingly collect, use, or share Personal Information from children below the applicable minimum age, being under thirteen (13) in the United States (as defined in COPPA) and the United Kingdom, and under the age of digital consent set by the relevant member state (between thirteen (13) and sixteen (16)) in the European Union. For users located in Jordan, where We become aware that a user is under eighteen (18) years of age, We will only process that user’s Personal Information on the basis of consent where that consent has been given by the user’s parent or legal guardian. International Transfers
Mad Hook is based in Jordan and we process and store information on a secure server. As such, we and our service providers may transfer your information to, or store or access it in, other jurisdictions. We will take steps to ensure that your personal data receives an adequate level of protection in the jurisdictions in which we process it. If You are located in the European Economic Area (“EEA”) or the UK, please note that Your Personal Information will be processed by Us in Jordan, which has not been recognized by the European Commission or the UK Government as providing an adequate level of protection.
Before transferring Your Personal Information outside the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, We will verify the level of protection offered by the recipient. We will only transfer Your Personal Information to a recipient whose level of protection is not less than that required under the PDPL, including recipients in countries recognized by the Personal Data Protection Council as providing a sufficient level of protection, unless You consent to the transfer after being informed that a sufficient level of protection is not available, or the transfer otherwise falls within one of the exceptions under Article 15 of the PDPL.
For users in the EEA and the UK, some of the partners and processors referred to in this Policy are located outside the EEA and the UK. In such case, we ensure that:
- the personal data is transferred to countries recognized as offering an equivalent level of protection or,

Subject to Article 6 of the PDPL, You have the right:

- to request the correction, amendment, completion or updating of Your Personal Information;
- to request that the processing of Your Personal Information be limited to a specific scope;
- to request the erasure or concealment of Your Personal Information;
- to object to the processing and profiling of Your Personal Information where it is not necessary for, or is excessive in relation to, the purposes for which it was collected, or where it is discriminatory, unfair or unlawful;
- to request the transfer of a copy of Your Personal Information to another controller; and
- to be notified of any breach affecting the security or integrity of Your Personal Information.
If You are not satisfied with our response, You may submit a complaint to the Personal Data Protection Unit at the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship.
Users in the EU and the UK
Under the GDPR and the UK GDPR, You have the right to:

- restrict the processing of Your Personal Information;

We disclose identifiers, internet or other electronic network activity information and inferences to our advertising and analytics partners, which may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” under the CCPA. We do not sell or share the Personal Information of consumers We know to be under sixteen (16) years of age without their affirmative authorization or, for consumers under thirteen (13), the authorization of their parent or guardian.
Consent Withdrawal and Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing of Information
You can change your consent status at any time from the Privacy Settings available in Mad Hook mobile games and applications.
Please note that while Mad Hook does not sell the Personal Information of its users for money, we may share it with third parties such as analytics and advertising companies in order to improve and personalize your experience and adapt the content and ads of our services.
Adjusting your consent settings within Mad Hook apps and games, will allow you to block the collection of data for these purposes and will de facto prevent the sharing of information with our analytics and/or advertising partners. Under certain US state privacy laws, sharing Personal Information with advertising partners for targeted advertising may be considered a “sale” or “sharing”. You can opt out of this at any time by adjusting Your consent settings in our apps or by using the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link on our website. We also honor opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, where required by applicable law.
Access Right
In accordance with applicable law, upon Your request, Mad Hook will provide You with information concerning You, and whether we hold any of your Personal Information. You may access Your Personal Information or request deletion of your Personal Information by contacting Mad Hook support as indicated in the “Contact” section below. We will respond to your request within the timeframes required under applicable law. If you have linked a social account (e.g., Facebook, GPGS, or Game Center), then you can unlink the app with those social providers to disassociate yourself with any stored data. If you do this, your username and gameplay may no longer be retrievable.
Cookies

- contact Mad Hook Support, as indicated in the “Contact” section below in order to have the data previously collected by Mad Hook on you and/or your device permanently erased or anonymized

Upon request, Mad Hook will provide you with the personal data that you provided to us and, if possible, will communicate this information directly to another data controller of your choice in a portable format. For users in the EU and the UK, this right applies where the processing is based on consent or contract.
